The Historic West End ARTSfest will hold its 7th biennial juried fine art and fine craft festival this Sept. 27, 2015 from 11am to 5pm. Charming Grace Court will once again host thousands of art enthusiasts from all over NC. Nestled in the lovely West End historic district the official “front porch” of downtown Winston-Salem, Grace Court has been the home of ARTSfest since its inception in 2003.
Artists from all over NC and beyond compete for a coveted spot at ARTSfest, deemed in past years to be some of the artist’s most successful show. The first deadline for entries is June 1st. The Cover Award will be chosen from this group and their art image will be featured on our printed materials and t-shirts for this year’s festival. The final deadline for all artists will be July 1st. Some medias such as jewelry may close early because of an abundance of applicants while certain other medias may remain open past deadline. We recommend that you check the Artist Info page for updates. All medias are represented in the festival and there are cash awards for Best in Show, Jurors Choice and Merit .
An impressive line-up of music and performances from some of our cities talent will entertain all day in the gazebo. There will be food vendors and a children’s art activity area where they can make their own art to take home. Door prizes donated by the artists and local businesses are given throughout the day.
Come and experience art among the artistry of nature!
